Masterpoints 

 

All members playing in competitions have the opportunity to earn Masterpoints. 
These accumulate over their lifetime and are used to determine each player’s master ranking. There are 19 different ranks, which range from Graduate Master to 
Gold Grand Master.

Three types of masterpoints are available: Green, Red and Gold. Green is available in ordinary club events; Red in major club competitions, congresses and State championships; Gold in Australian championships.

Players receive certificates as they progress to each master rank and some events are restricted to players of a particular rank.
